Guess I should have gotten her sooner huh? I hate being on the last page Anyway, I'm Mike Sullivan from South Florida. I've been riding MTB seriously for about 2 years now and will ride just about any trail as long as it isn't loaded with sand pits. Coming from Florida I've never had the experience of true downhill riding but I suspect it would be my favorite if it was available. I can't really claim to be an XC rider since I wear a brian bucket and boardshorts while I ride and use every excuse available to huck off of anything I can find.

I go by wanderingpops on several sites, my name is David. I just moved from east Tennessee to Albuquerque, NM six weeks ago and I am loving riding in the desert. So far here the Three Volcanoes Trail is my favorite. I've been riding since 1996 in several states and luckily once in British Columbia. I ride cross-country and have always ridden hardtail. For over a year and a half I have been riding a Scott Scale 50, phenomenal bike. A lot of my riding time is with my wife who prefers paved trails on her new Giant road bike so I do not get to ride off road as much as I would like. But riding a cross country bike on paved trails behind a road bike is almost as much workout as trail riding so it's all good. She does enjoy off-road but not too often or too technical. I contribute to the following sites on a regular basis. The first is my own site I am just getting going that includes riding and all our other adventures. It is nice to be here I look forward to reading and sharing stories.barefootroadtrip.com/barefootroadtrip/www.examiner.com/x-17737-Albuquerque-Mountain-Biking-Examinerwww.singletracks.com/php/my/view_profile.php?user=wanderingpopshubpages.com/profile/wanderingpopswww.nextstop.com/profile/wanderingpops/

Hey Wandering Pops, welcome to the party. Checked your site out, look like you're into all of the fun stuff!
I would trade you some of our east coast mud and sleet for some of that desert sand and temps in a heartbeat!
Again, welcome aboard.

Thank you JayMoney. Glad to be here. Mud I have enjoyed riding in many times but sleet is one of the big reasons I moved here. They say winter is very short here and so far I can believe it. It was 75 degrees today and is supposed to be mid 70's all week with 90% sun! I LOVE IT!
Hope to do all the fun stuff here also.
Again thanks for the welcome. If you decide to do some desert riding sometime next year hopefully I'll know my way around enough to give you pointers.

Hi everyone.
First off, thanks to the MBT crew for all the great reviews. It's good to get the straight scoop from people who are actually riding the bikes, not just repeating the marketing.
I'm a 38 year old male in SoCal. The wife and I just got bikes for the kids and decided to take up mountain biking. We don't have bikes yet, but hope people on this forum can point us in the right direction.
