Snowshoe Mountain Resort (www.snowshoemtn.com) today announced plans to rollout new amenities and activities for the upcoming summer season, designed to attract summer travelers seeking outdoor fun, spectacular scenery and cool mountain breezes. Among the many additions are the opening of a first-class spa in the resort’s mountaintop village, the expansion of new beginner and intermediate terrain in Snowshoe’s mountain bike park, and new 4x4 off-road tour programs.
“Most people think of Snowshoe first as a family winter destination for skiing and snowboarding, but that’s really only half the story,” says Dave Dekema, marketing director, Snowshoe. “Snowshoe is a pristine mountain getaway, with a full offering of outdoor resort activities, plus nearby access to epic river trips, climbing, hiking, cross-country mountain biking, and unforgettable scenic drives. You’d be hard-pressed to fit it all in a week, let alone a long weekend.”
To encourage exploration of all that Snowshoe offers in the summer, the resort also announced a new Summer Adventure Pass, a 3-day, all-you-can-play adventure ticket for just $149 per person. The Summer Adventure Pass gives the pass holder three days of unlimited golf on Snowshoe’s Gary Player Signature golf course, plus mountain biking, Polaris off-road driving tours, sporting clays, zipline rides, Segway’s, lake activities and more. The Summer Adventure Pass is available online or by calling resort reservations at 877-441-4386.
