What does everyone carry and why?
I carry a camelbak Blowfish. I like the expandable storage, and I really believe that CamelBak has the best bite valve out there. So what are you riding with?

Hydrapak Borracho. 1300+ cubic inches of space, the biggest bike specific pack on the market. I carry LOADS of crap in the pack.
Not to mention I find the bladder in the hydrapak the best in the biz.

I just purchased a new Camelbak. I went with a Menace www.camelbak.com/index.cfm. It is designed for snowboarders/skiers, but I can use the extra space, and I like the insulation around the tube. We'll see how hot I get with that much pack in the summer. Edit: to see it, click on the hydration packs, and then on ski/board.

I'm using an Outdoor products pack from WalMart. Why? It holds 2 liters of liquid (I rarely ever carry just water) and plenty of room for all of the other crap I take with me on the trail. I also couldn't justify spending $70+ on a pack that does the same thing. Yeah, I know that the bite valve is a bit better but not $50 better. That being said, a lot of times If I'm on a short trail system or one that has multiple loops that all connect to the parking lot I ditch the pack and just carry a gatorade bottle jammed in to my bottle cage and a spare tube and toolset in my seat pack. You gotta remember, in Florida it's like 90+ in the summer at nearly 1000% humidity. Hell, most of the time I don't even wear a shirt anymore.

Has anybody used the DaKine Nomad? It looks pretty good on paper.
